Enrico Arenson (Tenor) (Riga, Latvia ? - ?)

The merchant's son, he was born into a Jewish family. His real name was Henry Arensen.. He studied violin and gratuated from the Moscow Conservatory. In 1908 he made his debut at the Teatro Nuovo in  Mirandola in ‘’Samson e Dalila’’. In 1910 he appeared at the Boston Opera House in ‘’Il Trovatore’’. During his career he sang in opera houses of Canada, Italy and Germany. In 1922 as Enrico Arenson together with O. K. Nazarova, O. V. Pototskaya and M. A. Tamarina, he performed in concert at the Russian Grammar School in Zelenogorsk (Russia). He sang adopting the stage names Andrea Arensen, Enrico Arenson and Andre Arensen. Probably in Italy he met Nadine Legat, a fine singer who become his wife.
