Luigi Colazza (Tenor) (Rome 1868 – Trieste 1927)
His stage debut took place in 1892 at the Teatro Quirino in Rome. In 1897 he performed at the Italian opera house in Holland as Alvaro in ''La Forza del Destino’’. In 1899 he created for Bergamo the title role in ‘’Andrea Chenier’’ of Giordano. He sang the same role in 1901 at the Teatro Regio in Parma. In 1905 he appeared at the Teatro Municipale of Piacenza as Vasili in ‘’Siberia’’ of Giordano. His career happened basically at the big Italian provincial stages; later he became a professor of the Trieste Conservatory.
