Vittorio Lois (Tenor) (Padova 1888 - Milano 1962)
He made his debut in 1912 at the Teatro Sociale in Crema in ‘’Madama Butterfly’’. He was a member of traveling Italian opera companies. With this opera companies he sang in Australia and in Singapore. He also guested at the Coliseo Recrejos in Lisbon (1929) and at the Royal Opera House in Malta (1923). In 1925 he appeared in the festival at the Arena of Verona as Enzo in ‘’Gioconda’’. His career was impaired by a progressive eye complaint which led, in the end, to his complete loss of sight.
