Gustavo De Bernal Reszky (Baritone) (Aguascalientes / Mexico City 1875 - Paris 1918)
He received his education in Mexico City and in Italy. Debuted in 1899 at the Teatro Garibaldi of Figline Valdarno in ‘’La Traviata’’. He appeared in numerous stages in Italy, Spain and South America. He also sang with success in Russia. There he recorded for G&T. In the 1905-1906 season he performed under the name Gustavo Berl-Resky at the Metropolitan opera in New York, making his debut as Enrico in ‘’Lucia Di Lammermoor’’. He was married to soprano Maria Scorphy (Maria Scarpa).
