Nunzio Bari (Tenor) (Napoli 1875 - ? 1954)
He studied with Panzetta and he made his debut at San Carlo of Napoli in Rigoletto beside Esperanza Clasenti in a "forenoons" performance ( before accessing the regular season it was had to pass from the "forenoons" and from "the performances in suspended contract" where the manager tried various artists to engage for the regular season). He sang many times in Nord and South America closing his career around 1930. After retiring he devoted himself in teaching at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Neaples. In 1947 was among his pupils the baritone JohnTaber Fitzgerald that debuted the year after, at the tender age of 84 years with a concert at Town Hall in New York during which he sang 16 numbers.
