Probably he made his debut in 1899 and already in 1904 was engaged to sing at the Italian Opera in Holland, where he appeared with great success. Till 1908 he sang with this ensemble and performed in Dutch premiæres of ‘’Cavalleria rusticana’’, ‘’Pagliacci’’ , ‘’Tosca’’, ‘’Fedora’’ (1906 together with Gemma Bellincioni) and ‘’Amico Fritz’’ (1907). In the 1907-08 season he undertook a big guest performance tour through Germany. After discussions with the manager of the Italian opera in Holland M. de Hondt, in the 1908-09 season he became a soloist of the Rembrandt's theater in Amsterdam. In 1909 he sang at La Scala the role of Jason in Cherubini’s ‘’Medea’’ as a partner of Ester Mazzoleni. In 1919 he sang again in Amsterdam, this time in Verdi’s ‘’Ballo in maschera’’. Now he appeared in Holland and Belgium with smaller opera troups. After his retirement he taught singing in Brussels.
